My Kundalini starts rising, I am not really sure, I feel a flood of sensation/ vibration starting from my lower back and moving along spinal cord - it is not problamatic hot, it is like someone has started a hand dryer of hair dryer which is sending warm air, but much more powerful gush.
And then it doesn’t travel ahead, it stops at mid back, doesn’t move up. I continue feeling that gush in lower area but there is absolutely nothing above three chakras or so. I am awake, conscious, can think in that duration.
After sometime, I realise that it is not progressing, and then it susides and disappears.
It has happened 4 time in last one month, every time exactly as I wrote above.
Wise members please diagnose whether It is even kunalini or something different altogether?
When facing a block like this it can be very tempting to force it open with energetic practices, I would advise against this as it can lead to negative side effects.
I think it would be best to continue daily deep meditation practice as normal and wait for the block to clear naturally, there is really no need to worry, it will clear when it is ready, and in my experience it is always better to give it chance to clear naturally and gently.
What you are experiencing is certainly kundalini. If it is not rising beyond the first three chakras then it is being stopped by a blockage in the heart. This is not an issue and is quite normal.
You did not mention which spiritual practices you are doing? If you are only practicing meditation then you could benefit from adding Spinal Breathing Pranayama to your practice. This will help to purify the central channel and all of the chakras, providing a safe purified channel for the prana to move through when it is ready.
You can read about this in the AYP lessons here:
Sometimes it can take a while for the heart to become purified enough for the prana to be able to flow through it, so be patient. As Tom mentioned, there is no need to force anything.
It sounds like your body is moving at its own wise and natural pace. It’s totally normal for energy to pause in certain areas. It’s often your body’s way of saying, “Let’s clear this out first.” Keep tending to your practice with patience and care. Trust that your system knows exactly what it’s doing, and it will move forward when the time is right.
