Reading the 1st few of these posts, it seems that we tend to get lost in some of the details and loose sight of he big picture.
I see allot of post blocking, hold back, retention, masturbations’, porn, etc.
I think we are all here for basicity the same thing; that is to turn this gift that god and nature have given us to experience, explement with, explore senuial and sexuial pleasure and to focus it into something with a greater purpose meaning and benefit. that may have spiritual, phycological, physical and mental benefits. and although there is allot to be gained in sole practice, sharing these gifts with others either as couple or as group only multiplies experience where the end result is greater than the sum of the parts.
I sense you are looking for more. If you are really interested in the “big picture,” it is suggested to expand your horizons beyond sexual explorations and intimacy. These are undoubtedly important components of our spiritual journey, but there is so much more. A daily deep meditation practice is the best place to begin exploring your infinite depths. There are many additional means for cultivating lasting inner peace and happiness. You bring up some great points. I have had my toe in the water with various practices over time, but when I started incorporating tantra it really resonated with me. The idea that there greater forces at work than just pleasure really hit me. I have participated in some groups where I could really feel the energy and we were there for far more than hedonism.
