of course leading with love we find ourselves
Hi Sey,
I find your descriptions about the location of the “point of view” really fascinating, thank you for sharing
I’ve never had anything like that, except maybe the sense that something like that was about to happen, but it felt deeply frightening, which stopped it from happening.
Occasionally however, I do get flashes (or hints) of experience of a given situation from another person’s point of view. And I also experience “thinking other peoples’ thoughts”, which seems to hint at a deeper underlying “centerlessness” which I am yet to fully uncover.

It’s a pleasure. I must clarify that I have never been inside another person’s mind. I generally have no knowledge of another’s world. I constantly notice thoughts that float by that are clearly not my own (not relevant to me) but I have no idea where they originate from.

I haven’t actually been inside a person’s mind either. It’s more like an impression of something that they perceived has come into my consciousness. More commonly, it is experienced as being aware of certain mental tendencies/thoughts that someone else might have, as if they were happening to me. Sometimes I end up identifying with those tendencies/thoughts.
Often I attribute these tendencies/thoughts to a particular situation, but it might have been just “me” all along.
Let me also mention that while sometimes I am sensitive to this stuff, I also have periods of just being the in physical side of world, where I don’t experience this stuff.

Greetings dear friends, my good companions on this journey.
I am now past the 20 year milestone and should move this thread to “The Advanced Years”
and say something about the10 middle years gone by - except it is one of the days when I feel I know squat. I’ll come back tomorrow…

advanced, middle, it’s all a blur now that I’m retired. it’s the best time to be a yogi for sure!
“The beginning annihilates you from the senses
The middle annihilates you from your self
The end restores to you your sun.
The beginning grants you miracles what they call the breaking of custom
The middle grants you passing away from attributes by witnessing how everything passes away in the Oneness of the essence.
The end grants you delight in witnessing the essence. The essence that is the goal of all essences.”
