Teleempathy, telepathy - projection or not? A misleading Siddhi?

Hi AYP!!

Christi, Tristan, recently published a video about teleempathy and telepathy being phenomena on the path. If I remember correctly, it could be associated with heart opening, however I feel this is a sticky phenomena to certify.

It seems as, just like with non-relational selfinquiry, this tele- Siddhi can be outright misleading. It could mislead one to think one knows others emotions and thoughts when really one is projecting. Although one could argue that many people are in their mini-self-ego, covered by vritthi/karma and thereby unable to know their states and confirm your tele-pathy/empathy. Being immersed in the grosser mind which means they are being oblivious to whatever truth your perceive in them in other words. This state of gross consciousness which many of us probably can attest to easily see in other beings.

If one tests the Siddhi by telling them what you do perceive in them it, it still does not neccesarily mean its true once they confirm it. Again, because they might be oblivious to their real self, or they might just be acting out what you tell them because they want it to be true, find it interesting or whatnot. Placebo perhaps.

Hmm. Now I just realized one probably has to push through this faze of sensing too much in others yet being to sensitive for the content itself, and later, after becoming more established in peace - then being able to sense and discriminate other peoples mental/emotional states. This brings me to ask what the use of the Siddhi is.

I think one needs to ask the question:
is this information precieved through teleempathy/telepathy useful and something to use? Or, preferably, let it go as there is better Siddhis awaiting like radience and Nirvikalpa Samadhi. These more advanced Siddhis are just happening unintentionally ideally. Unintelntionally which seems like the best way to handle Siddhis anyway. Siddhis is perhaps only for our disposal if one is dominantly psychic or has a deep purpose of infusing consciousness into something or whatever calls you. Jesus is a good example of intentional Siddhis, if I may say so myself.

Anyway, are there anyone with a fresh story or thought regarding this? How to have a healthy relationship towards these Siddhis when they appear?

And also regarding Radiance, or ‘giving away’ Samadhi - if you have experienced that, and how that played out?

Dear Wil,

I cannot read anybody’s mind. I can, at times, feel someone’s grief, sadness, exhaustion and my spontaneous and naturally reaction to such sensing is to hug the person (with permission if a stranger) and that’s the end of the story. Well, not quite. There appears to be a transfer of the grief or darkness onto me and often I have to sit for some minutes to let it all wash away. Darkness may take a couple of days. But I have no way of knowing the effectiveness of the hug or if the energy transfer has really taken place. Did it bring some relief to the recipient? I don’t know and there is no point to thinking about it. I let it go.
As for radiance - it is even harder to tell. The only thing I can report here is I get a lot of beautiful smiles from strangers. On a day where the radiance is particularly brilliant, a crowd will simply part to let me through. Often people are eager to help me.

Sey
