Role of long hair in spirituality/meditation

I would like to know about the role of long hair in or spiritual journey.
I have read a few articles recently which puts light on why our previous generations esp. India used to keep long hair which has changed in the last century.

i feel energy move up when i cut my hair/shave. brahmacharys in isha shave their heads on the 13th night every month

The ‘role of long hair in spirituality/meditation’ is so that you look waaaaay cooler when you are meditating outside in a gentle breeze. This has always bummed me out since I haven’t been able to grow hair on top of my head since I was about 20 so I had to get lots of tattoos to make up for it. :clown_face: :wink:
