On becoming ripe

Hi All,

We have often discussed what it takes to find more traction in abiding inner silence (the witness) which strengthens our samyama, self-inquiry, and life in general. It is daily deep meditation, of course.

The word “ripe” has been offered to describe the emergence of the witness, and its ability to evolve beyond static awareness into active awakening and outward expression, what we have called stillness in action and an outpouring of divine love. There comes a time when we reach that ripeness where a small nudge can cause us to fall into an active awakened state, beyond the grip of the externally attached ego, into a greatly expanded perception of ourselves and the world around us, and able to act accordingly. Our role in becoming ripe, as well as the role of advaita teachers, are discussed in the below lesson.

The guru is in you.
