Nonduality is not sameness and non-differentiation

Nonduality does not mean non-differentiation and homogeneity of experience. Think of the ocean. Under water it is all ocean…there is no other…and yet there are different currents, hot and cold spots, etc. The hot and cold spots are not separate or other than the ocean. The various currents are not other than the ocean. One current goes straight North…another swirls and meanders East…it doesn’t matter as it is all ocean. So even in endless water…there is variation and happenings. The world is even more complex of an appearance and happening…and yet there is no separation. There is the Self and no other.

Yet that is still the mind. It is the mind that perceives duality (hot and cold) in union (ocean).
Union is still dualistic because, as the word says, it is union (uniting two or more).
When you dream at night it is just your mind experiencing multipleness. (the ocean experiencing being waves)
When you are in dead deep sleep, no mind is there to say, think, perceive or feel “There is the Self and no other”.
Non duality is beyond unicity (ocean) and separateness (waves).

Words can never really describe it.
Non-duality is about feeling the way how things are exactly like. It is about living in the world, not in one’s head. You brain aligns itself and you can finally think, smell, feel just the way it is. Without any prejudice or taint.
You can make up 100 words but the simple experience of when mind realizes the end of duality…although is a bit lackluster but it simply calms you. Finally you feel like your mind is not the master anymore, and it starts working for you. It simply shuts up when you dont need it. After that it starts rearranging your body and your experience of life deepens and becomes richer and richer until you finally reach enlightenment perhaps. I have merely found that finding end of duality through one’s wisdom indeed tames one’s mind. Once mind submits, world seems clearer and clearer.
