Mulabandha

What is Mulabandha?
Mulabandha is a yoga practice that consists of lightly flexing the anal sphincter muscle. At the same time, while we do this, we lightly flex and pull up above the flexed anal sphincter, through the pelvis, and into our lower belly. It is to encourage sexual energy to move upward. In AYP, Mulabandha is practiced while doing pranayama.
