Kundalini vs grace

We know that the kundalini energy moves in designated pathways or conduits called nadis, as most on this forum would have possibly experienced to different ‘levels’ as the case may be. The energy grid and chakra system is far more intricate and enigmatic than listed in commonly available printed matter on this subject.

Alright. So we have the kundalini entwined with soma nectar as bliss magnetism which transforms us, transmutes us slowly. This is wondrous and yet we notice that the movements within are through the designated nadis and charas only.

On one occasion, way after the kundalini has more or less stabilised in my system and several oneness immersions were also offered by the universe (all spontaneous, without any practice), I sensed a rotating disc of light above my head, that is, beyond boundaries of skin. We know of course that chakras too rotate or rather whir but this one was different, from the ego* (* aspect of consciousness limited to form) point of view, seemed like the ‘hand of God’.

This rotating disc of energy, all light, it descended into me through the crown chakra (fontanel) and steadily moved downwards, engulfing each and every cell of my body, as a pleasing, blissful, subtle energy. Liken it to a scan if you will. The disc of light moved down slowly but surely at a steady speed and exited from the soles of my feet.

Unlike the kundalini as we traditionally understand it, this descent of grace had no constraint, no limitation.

I wonder if anyone in this forum can throw light on this light, if I may use the pun?

Hi SeekingShiva,

This has happened to me often, and it is a very beautiful experience, as I am sure you have noticed. All sorts of incredible things can happen as the subtle neurobiology is purifying. Ecstatic energies can descend through us from above, rise up through us from below, move through us from one side, or the other. It is always purifying when it happens. Some of the energies are conscious and have their own volition and will, whilst others are simply occurences in nature, like the wind, or the tides.

Ultimately the only thing that really matters when any spiritual experience happens, is how much we were able to let go of as a result of the experience. Everything else is inconsequential.

@ Tristan ~ thanks for sharing.

In as I see it, there are two takeaways of this experience:

  1. the descent of grace does not move through nadis. it is a living light, like a disc descending and enlivening each cell of the body. so we are looking at an empowerment of a higher kundalini, if we want to all this kundalini at all.

  2. the start is outside boundary of skin, above the head, so it signals a shift in the way we feel form and the five sheaths

hmmm
