As many of you may know, Yogani is now approaching the Autumn years of his life. It has always been his wish that AYP would survive and keep growing long after he is no longer with us. As a part of this plan, he has now passed this forum onto me to run for the foreseeable future. I intend to simply keep this forum running in the same way that it has been for the last 22 years, as a free resource available to everyone in the world who has an internet connection.
Firstly, my best wishes to Yogani - he has been such an inspiration to me (also my mum and anyone I have passed his teachings on to who has taken the trouble to actually look at them …). I am very relieved to hear that the forum is being kept alive. We all need solace for the spirit - in these dark times especially - and having a place where people around the world who are studying the AYP practices in isolation can ask any (important) questions they may have … It also gives AYP a community presence and is very egalatarian (not to mention efficient!) that any member of this ‘community’ can respond to the queries of others, as they see fit. Namaste!
I saw this post a few days back, and wanted to take the time to respond properly.
Words don’t really express my deep and sincere gratitude for these teachings, and for your kindness and support over the years.
By some stroke of luck or fate, or force of grace unknown, I found the AYP forums online as I was struggling through the fallout of a spontaneous Kundalini awakening. This was around 2015. I had no idea what had happened, and it was these teachings, and later some others, that helped me to stabilize my life.
You helped me in gaining the confidence to trust my own discernment and intuition. Thank you for creating this space, and nurturing it the way you have. Such a gift you’ve given. All my gratitude,
I’m new to this site and so am unaware of the background presented but I’d say it is indeed comforting for anyone having a kundalini awakening to obtain guidance and validation from those who are in the know of such matters, who incidentally are not so easy to find.
Transition is a part of life. However if yogani is in good health then guidance should continue. But of course, it is for the individual to decide.
