° if its heavy when you're ready

° if its heavy when you’re ready…

A strange state keeps killing man from inside,
When the Dragon attacks with nowhere to hide.
The pain, the nerves, and a loneliness so old,
Flood him in waves that never seemed so cold.

But naming the problem won’t help us find rest,
To ask who feels it, is the true dilemma’s test.
For even yet another bitter chapter of this life,
Is cured by tearing down your own walls inside.

Those thick walls that choke our hope until it’s thin,
Threatening the safety we thought we had within.
Is it just the illusion of control we try to hold,
Or is our dragon simply a hollow, gaping hole?

It’s natural to feel “I can’t take any more,”
When you suffer the same each day as before.
But often this weight, this pressure and this dread,
Is yet another classroom of life’s school instead…!

The School of Eternal Mystery, holding us in its sway,
Whose methods surprise us in a most startling way.
It shows us, with a passion that’s fierce and so deep,
How man dies little by little as he surrenders to sleep.

We die a little, for it’s healthier to let go,
To make way, letting the old show go.
And leave Her the space, free from distress,
To teach you of Man and of Glory’s caress.

A deaf glory, slipping through our own hand,
The key to the changes no one can withstand.
The eternal shift from the ego to just a man…
As he sees a flower rise beside the path again.
