Hello AYP,
Is 10 minutes of SBP and 20 minutes of DM without energy overloads a prerequisite before incorporating mulabandha and sambhavi?
6 minutes of SBP and 20 minutes of DM is comfortable after which a slight heat sensation begins at the point the sushumna touches the crown.
Wake up filled with deliciously smooth flowing prana distributed across all chakras, a buoyant/bouncy feeling, and an utterly still mind but the prana thins out in higher chakras after SBP, DM and rest leaving me feeling light, but not as blissful, steady and vibrant as when energy circulates in higher chakras freely.
Any advice?
PS - Experienced a premature crown opening in Jan which seems to have stabilised for the most part.
Best wishes.

Hi Pranar
I guess you reason for keeping to 6 minutes SBP is to avoid overload - is that correct?
The rules for adding an extra practice are not set in stone, but if 4 extra minutes of SBP could upset the balance, that is certainly a reason to be cautious about taking on a new practice. Incorporating mulabandha and sambhavi would bring about a significant increase in energy level. Are you in the position to integrate that energy?
Your call, as always. Use your best judgement. ![]()

One after the other, not together. Mulabanda can be attempted first.
