Can underweight sustain an energy Overload?

Hello everyone,

My question is: Can underweight caused by illness contribute to an increased flow of energy (similar to a form of involuntary asceticism)?

The background to this is that, from the age of 29, I began exploring spirituality as part of my approach to health, as I was already underweight due to a pre-existing condition.

From the age of 30, there was then a premature awakening of Kundalini. This was somewhat stable at first, though not ecstatic. Gradually, I omitted all practices but dedicated myself intensely to a spiritual healing path. It was always said that these special healing energies would be appropriately allocated according to the individual’s situation. The energies were also transmitted through objects. Using these healing energies then led to the Kundalini process becoming unbalanced.

I then stopped using the healing energies and only practiced relaxation while lying on my back, as I was already exhausted. Over the next two years, the Kundalini gradually receded but remained too high. For another 20 months, the level stayed roughly the same, albeit with cyclical fluctuations.

I have implemented the advice from AYP as best as I could, but I must note that activities described as grounding, like gardening, tend to stimulate the energies more because I find them very strenuous due to my physical condition. For example, when I perform household tasks like changing the bed sheets, I am exhausted afterward, feeling quite hot during the activity and then the energies really surge afterward.

I have experienced that as long as I do not practice exercises like mantra meditation or pranayama, it doesn’t make much difference whether I engage intellectually with spirituality or consume entertainment (as long as there’s no Shaktipat involved, like in the books from the SRF or the training materials of the healing path).

Therefore, to repeat my initial question: Could it be that the existence of underweight an perceive everything as exhausting perpetuates the excess; or is it possible that an out-of-control energy process can take so long to dissipate once it has gained enough momentum? Or should I look for other factors such as attention control in relaxation?
