Blue Pearl

I was wondering if anybody has had the experience of visualizing the so-called “blue pearl” during meditation. I have noticed that it has been mentioned a number of times in yogic and spiritual literature (e.g. http://www.souledout.org/healing/bluedot/bluedot.html). In my experience, for many years I have seen what I would describe as a “blue ring” during my meditations. I never attached much significance to this as I figured it was just that I have always had a real fondness for the shades of blue. Most recently I had a vision of a blue circle which was an amazing shade of luminous blue that was not familiar to me, nor could I describe. Another delightful experience along the way…

I read about the blue pearl in one of Muktananda’s books. He also says there is a red sheath, an outer layer, and in this red cloud one can see anything from anywhere.

Hi Tam Phap
You could have a look at the following lesson and see if it rings a bell for you.

I would personally experience various colours and shapes and lights in the brow area during meditation. Not sure if this is what you are talking about? If it is then Lesson 92 seems to explain it pretty well.

Blue Opal, who posts on this forum, sees a blue orb.
Yogananda describes the spiritual eye as a gold ring surrounding a blue globe with a white star in the middle. The blue globe appears to be connected to the heart chakra. When the life-force is at that level, the sound of bells are heard.

Yes, the same phenomena can be perceived and described in different ways. But there is only one nervous system and process of purification and opening going on.
The guru is in you.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I saw one this morning, gazing at eyebrow center during meditation. The color was blue in the direction of deep violet, the shape circular, the surface remarkably pearly. The surface gave it an appearance of being pearl shaped rather than flat, three D rather than two D. And the visual was accompanied by a feeling of heavenly bliss, contentment, peace. It came, stayed maybe ten seconds and morphed into other shapes, still the same color, but no longer pearly and more 2 D in appearance – that I’ve seen before. The pearl, struck me as new, and quite a pleasure to behold.
Lesson 92 is great as a perspective on what it represents and how to regard it as scenery. I’m utterly convinced of the teaching that it is core discipline of pranayama and deep meditation, twice daily, that moves us forward in the marriage in bliss consciousness and ecstatic conductivity even as lights and sensations come and go.

“The sacred diagram, “Sri Yantra,” is also a representation of the
inner reality of humanity…”
From lesson 92, by Yogani
See also lesson 25,

Where Yogani writes: “The Sri Yantra is a representation of our nervous system in its highest mode of spiritual reverie.”

And googling sri yantra images is great too.
Wow! Now, I “get” sri yantra.

That’s very helpful bewell, it has widened my understanding and made the connection for me, between Sri Yantra and the sushumna.
Thanks
