“Brâhmo: ‘We have passions like anger and lust. What shall we do with these?’
Master: ‘Direct the six passions to God. The impulse of lust should be turned into the desire to have intercourse with Âtman. Feel angry at those who stand in your way to God. Feel greedy for Him…’” (220).
“The attraction of the husband for the chaste wife, the attraction of the child for its mother, the attraction of worldly possessions for the worldly man-when a man can blend these three into one, and direct it all to God, then he gets the vision of God” (375).

Hello Hunter,
Kama[lust],Krodha[anger],lobha[greed],moha[attachment] are diehard enemies of man.Unless and until one has establihed oneself in “Nirvikalpa Samadhi”,one can’t be sure that above enemies would not strike back.I think every sadhaka ultimate goal is to enter into above samadhi.

Thanks Hunter…

What is Nirvikalpa Samadhi?

it’s like a black belt in yogi-ness, that you wear all the time.
