An AI Assistant has been added to AYP Plus, covering the full written content of the expanded (x2) lessons and all the AYP books (16), enabling comprehensive Q&A support responses, exceeding what can be provided by AIs utilizing AYP content available in the public domain. You can find the AI Assistant on the top of the right side border and in the top menu of the AYP Plus website.
The AI assistant is driven by Google’s NotebookLM, with all the AYP books uploaded into it, covering all of the text in AYP Plus, about 6000 pages of content. The AI has been extensively tested, and can accurately answer questions on the specifics of anything and everything related to the AYP practices and their results, as well as any background and overview questions. Written Q&As can be in whatever “output language” the user chooses in settings. The AI Assistant can handle written communications in many languages.
The AI Assistant can be targeted on any of the books, or all the books. It does not cover the extensive audio and video resources available in AYP Plus. Nor does it replace the original writings. It can create very informative text responses and audio overviews of its own. It can also create a “Mind Map,” providing useful pathways through the AYP Plus knowledgebase.
When AYP Plus was launched in 2015, I hoped that one day Artificial Intelligence (AI) could be incorporated to provide comprehensive teaching and support capabilities based on the writings. That day has arrived. This does not minimize the ongoing efforts of the many humans who are working tirelessly to bring the knowledge of Yoga and “applied spiritual science” in all its forms to as many around the world who can make use of it. But we humans come and go, and maintaining the consistency of spiritual teachings over the decades and centuries has always been a challenge. This has been true with oral teachings especially.
Writings that have been created since antiquity have helped retain spiritual knowledge, benefitting us all in the present. To help carry the benefits of spiritual writings forward, AYP was created, with longevity in mind. Now we have the internet, and AI arriving on the scene, which can provide useful interactions with knowledge, both in the present, and hopefully far into the future. I am very happy to see these developments in the application of the knowledge of human spiritual transformation. May it help lead to a fully awakened humanity. We each are doing our part as we sit to meditate each day.
