Hi Yogani,
As a physicist, and now also yogi, I’m particularly interested in siddhis that seem to violate the laws of physics. By laws of physics I mean the mathematical fictions of General Relativity and Quantum Field Theory that describe very well our observations and experiments. Any anomalies that indicate limitations of these theories are currently mild enough that no paradigm shift was required. A levitating yogi, however, would require such a paradigm shift, as then General Relativity or Quantum Physics would have to be given up and replaced by something profoundly different. Paradigm shifts have happened before when Newton’s spacetime view was replaced by Einstein’s, or classical physics by quantum physics. In both cases these paradigm shifts had huge consequences for our world and technology. So, a levitating yogi is very exciting for any theoretical physicist, because it would necessitate a paradigm shift in theoretical physics and with it the overall scientific world view which is shaped by our current best theories of physics.
In an old post, about 20 years ago, you mentioned that you have not levitated (in the sense of finding your body seemingly violating the laws of physics).
Now 20 years later, I’m curious if you have in the mean time observed such levitation phenomena on yourself. I’m suspecting that you have, since otherwise you would not speak with confidence about the breakdown of the laws of physics in the vicinity of a yogi. Could you elaborate?
