05. Satsang Cafe - General Discussions on AYP

Having heard Yogani’s interview and his voice
and having read all the posts about how impressed
everybody was, following idea came to me:
Let’s record each others voice, may be just a short
general greeting to each other, a general introduction
or whatever you want to say.
Let’s share these recordings and let’s listen to each others
voices. This way we may get to know and come closer to each other.
So, anybody inspired to share his/her voice ?
As for the practical approach:

  1. Record your message (for example with soundrecorder)
  2. Save the recording to file
  3. Upload the file to a website (we should agree to
    a certain webpage, trip1 may have a good solution !?)

I think this, along with pictures (for whoever is willing) is a good way to know who you’re dealing with.

I’d be happy to put my voice out there. If someone else can solve the technical problems…

I’m definitely willing to handle the technical side of things on this project. We can use a slightly modified version of the AYP audio player for streaming the recordings. For those who would also like to add a small photo, I can set it up so it will display as the audio is streaming.

Actually the island of trinidad and Tobago is like paradise with the coral reefs and all

For those who would like to participate the AYP Voices project, you can email the files to: aypvoices@beautifulskies.net
Please make a note in here after you have sent the files, as I have been having a bit of email trouble over the past couple days and wouldn’t want to leave anyone out. Once the files have been received, I will get everything resized and set up the streaming player in the next couple days.

I’ve not tried youtube before, but I’m assuming that I’d be able to figure out how to post a vid. I was thinking of doing something like that anyways. I’ll post a link if I’m able to figure it out.
