Hi all,
Well, we had a lovely retreat in the Cotswolds. We didn’t get off to a good start as I managed to lose control of my car on ice on the way up to the retreat centre! I managed to keep the car on the road- just, but by the time we came to a standstill - after spinning 180 degrees- the car was undriveable. By some miracle nobody was hurt in the crash. The car ended up being towed back to Devon by the breakdown people, and myself, a friend and our catering lady all ended up arriving late in a taxi (with all the food for the retreat!).
But once we were there everything went very smoothly. The place was beautiful, a big country house in the middle of England with beautiful decoration and gardens. The food was prepared by a lady who specializes in Ayurvedic wholefood superfood cooking, which was amazing, and we had a great bunch of yogis and yoginis from all over the country who were very dedicated to their practice. And a big thank you to Alex for stepping up to the platform and leading half the yoga sessions, and to everyone who came for making the retreat happen.

We missed you! would be great if you could come next year. I’ll try and arrange it for a time when Ryan Air are flying! That also coincides with the time when there is no ice on the roads, so it will be a plus for both of us!
Glad you and your fellow passengers are OK. Near death stuff is never good! I remember going round a round-about (as you do) and skidded in some diesel and flew off-road (really I was just going too fast in a car with dodgy driveshafts 
).
It’s a real shame I couldn’t make this one, with the last one being awesome. Roll on the next retreat.

I’d be great if it’s on August, when many people who live abroad have holidays and therefore there would be more people able to attend.

August is a difficult month, as many venues get booked up a long time in advance for August. I also work as a gardener, and August is one of my busiest months. But it would be nice to be able to make the UK retreats more accessible for people on the continent, so I will try my best.
