I have been asked a few questions about the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and about whether it is a non-dualistic text (advaita), or a dualistic text?
So, I filmed a video on this topic for YouTube. It is quite a bit longer than my usual videos, being around 30 minutes, as the topic is not a simple one, and I had to dive into the sutras themselves.
Sometimes I get asked what is the best order to activate the chakras in. So, I created a short video for YouTube on this topic. (Spoiler alert: It depends on the individual).
I was recently asked if desire is the main factor in preventing liberation and what the actual process of entering samadhi is like and what causes it. So, I filmed a video for YouTube on this. That is here:
I was recently asked if I could say something about how the I AM mantra works in the subtle nervous system. So, I have filmed a video for YouTube here:
I was recently asked about the role of spiritual desire (bhakti) on the path of liberation and if this conflicts with the teachings of the Buddha, that desire is the cause of all suffering? So, I filmed a video for YouTube on the topic. That is here:
Someone asked me if they should stop using social media if they find it detrimental to their spiritual progress. So, I filmed a short video on this topic, and on why social media can be so harmfull, often without us even realising. That is here:
I was asked recently if I could give some clarification for where the central channel (sushumna) is located in the body. So, I filmed a short video on this.
I was recently asked about how to avoid dullness during meditation. This is a common experience and can be difficult to deal with if it is happening a lot.
I filmed a short podcast on this subject for YouTube here:
I was recently in communication with someone who believed that the process of kundalini is necessarily always painful, difficult and challenging. Over the years I have encountered others who also held this view. It is actually not the case and I know many people going through a kundalini awakening who are having a very beautiful and enjoyable experience. So, I created a video talking about this and why I believe the myth arose that kundalini always comes with painful experiences and difficulties.
I was recently asked about how spiritual practices can affect digestion. I have filmed a short podcast on this topic for YouTube. I talk about how digestion can slow down as well as how elimination can get more difficult and how we can use colonic irrigation (bhasti) to solve this issue if we wish to.
