Meditation and Pranayama Symptoms

Hi I saw your post on the gnosticteachings forum
I have the same symptoms as you and I believe I got the rash at the base of my spine also abusing masturbation for so many years and believing it was normal to look at porn even though I felt not good afterwards, the short high from doing it got me addicted.
I also developed depression, social anxiety and looking back I see these problems in life manifested when I started masturbating and became addicted to it.
I became aloof from other people feeling great shame yet continued to do it as it was the only thing in my life I began to look forward to, the small high.
Thankfully I found no-fap or people abstaining and I feel much better now at least energy wise from not masturbating and I hope to keep it up and progress to positive spiritual practice if possible now.
Whats helped me is becoming vegetarian (almost vegan) for the past 2-3 months, i notice my sexual urges are lessened greatly with this. Diatomaceous Earth also has helped with the skin rash by applying it on the skin areas, its not completely gone but much better than it was.

Recently, I have met to neurologist with my Brain and Neck MRI. He told you have cervical spondylitis. He has prescribed some physical neck exercises. When I sleep with cervical pillow in night with chest up. Then I get pressure in right head. But it is ok and it is manageable. I get good sleep. I have come out of various physical concerns. Which, I have described above. Earlier I was frustrated because of kundalini imbalance which I have thought. I have indulged in non celibate activity for an year. Such that kundalini goes down (it was my thought). From last three four month again I have come back to voluntarily not loosing sexual energy. When I try to do alternate nostril breathing(no spinal breathing, earlier I was doing) and then meditation(watching breath, earlier I was doing mantra repetition) it increases right head pressure. So , I can’t do theses things. Now, How to identify that till now what ever is happened in my body and mind it was kundalini or cervical spondylitis. When should I start yogic practices?

Glad you found some answers.I would make sure everything is stable in your everyday life before starting practices. You have finally found some relief, enjoy it. If headaches are persistent, it’s a sign of overload.Selfpace.One does not progress faster by pushing through overload. Hope this helps. :heart:

My right skull headache is not relieving.I have other symptoms like left leg heating, something moves up in my back. But very less in right side of body. These things increases when I do meditation and any activity which alter my normal breath pattern.
I have also braked my celibacy. When I try to maintain celibacy I feel it is increasing my right skull head pressure. When, I do not get sleep in night, I break celibacy. That is my routine.
I feel that. when I do not read and roam hear and there then my head pressure reduces. But quiting reading or PhD is dangerous and difficult decision. PhD is little bit stress full job. When I try to read my mind goes towards head. Energy moves here and there. It disturbs my reading.
I have gone to neurologist. After cervical and Brain MRI. He has told that in the cervical C6-C7 disc bulge. Doctor has told that it presents in every body of your age (mine is 32). It is also not touching spinal nerve root. When it touch spinal nerve root then it creates neck pain and hand weakness. Which is serious issue. You do physiotherapy and maintain proper posture then it automatically heals. It is not big issue.
So, I have thought that because of cervical, head pressure is coming. But after 2-3 month of physiotherapy and 24 days acupressure my right head skull pressure is not relieved. My other symptoms are also present. I have get confused whether it is kundalini or cervical problem. Some times, leg heating, leg pain and back pain happens because of lumbar disc herniation. But I have only leg heating which radiates from feet to buttock. But in lumber disc herniation it goes downwards. I told to doctor he has told no issue. He has not prescribed any further lumbar spine MRI. One day I have get faint during acupressure. I went to again neurologist. He has prescribed EEG(for seizure) it was normal. Finally, no issue. You can say I am in confused state.

Should I go to neurologist for my kundalini syndrome healing? I have talked regarding this to neurologist. He has told that Reiki works better in these type of cases. He also told that he can put my energy down. Then you can again start your meditation routine.
I am little bit afraid regarding this. Should I go to him or not?
Definitely He will touch my inner energy system. That is the reason of my afraid.

I have had a one- sided crown. The best way seems to be not trying to solve the problem, but you backing way off, even if it!s a few minutes of meditation for 6- 9 months. I’ve been there. Your Bhakti is fabulous! You just may need lean towards moderation to your constitution.

Right head skull pressure, heating in left leg which goes from foot to buttock then inside skin something goes up in back are getting managed and I have returned in my physical celibacy practice. But still I can not do yogic practices and any exercise which alters my breath pattern.
But some new symptom has come. I am getting ring like white patches on my both upper arm. One year back, I had get ring worm in skin; one was in upper arm and others were in both side groin. But it was cured. I had taken allopathic and ayurvedic treatment.
So for white patches in both upper arm, I am going for ayurvedic(medicines, diet and lifestyle restrictions) and homeopathic treatment. If any other suggestion then please suggest me.

To get sleep, I am using homeopathic and plant based ayurvedic medicine. Most of the time it works. But radiation inside skin always moves left leg to right skull. In back side it moves here and there around spine. In right leg this radiation appear less. This radiation is not reducing. Whenever I confront with bright light and high sound, this radiation increases in my body. Now a days, I am able to work better than my previous years. I think my kundalini has entered in ida nadi and it has got stucked in my right skull. My muladhara chakra has activated and rest of the chakras are not activated. When we do not drink enough water then some times we feel an irritating feeling around our genital area. Similar kind of sensation happens in my perineum area. After some time it automatically goes away.This sensation does not happen always. But when it happens it irritates too much. Will the radiation go down with time? Or will it enter in susumna with time?

Still I always get right skull pressure. It is like one insect which always present in my back of right skull and whenever I try to concentrate on my works, e.g. think about maths problem it moves towards third eye and create pressure throughout in my right skull. Light and sound increasees this pressure too.
I can’t able to sleep in right side, chest up or stomach side positions. When I sleep in left side position and some time my attention goes to these symptoms then one insect moves from my right leg towards perinium and then it moves up through my joint of thigh then it gives jerk and then it goes away. It doesn’t go above than thigh joints. I get less sleep too. I have already gone through liver function test, some more blood, urine and stool test, ecg, eeg, brain and cervical MRI. Every thing was normal.
Now a days I am getting black spots throughout on my scalp, this I am showing to dermatologist. But it is not getting cured. Any suggestions regarding this.

If you are satisfied that medically there is not a problem, perhaps observe symptoms and release like a samyama sutra, here and there when they are acute. Over time, it is my theory your symptoms will grab less of your attention, either they truly have dissolved, or become less of a burden by the act of releasing them into stillness.

I have read all your posts and sorry to see that you are facing so many problems related to kundalini syndrome. I have also gone through such situations. I would suggest you see any enlightened masters instead of going to doctors. Some teachers I like most are Sri M, Sadhguru, Om Swami etc.

I met with Simplified Kundalini Yoga master in my locality. She has taught me shanti meditation (start meditation by doing 2-3 round ashwini mudra and then meditate on tailbone). She has traced my spine with her fingers, starting from the center of eyebrow then towards back of my head in circular fashion and then she has traced my spine up to tailbone. She told continue with shanti meditation practice, slowly slowly things will be settled. My right skull pressure has not gone but it does not increase with this meditation practice. She told me that do not practice any form of pranayama or asana which increases the problem. I am practicing shanti meditation 15-20 minutes two time per day from last 9-10 days. Earlier I was not able to practice meditation and pranayama. Finally, I am glad that I got my meditation routine.

How is this new system working for you?

I’ve had mine suddenly wake me up in a boring class a back in college. I was about to fall asleep when it ran up my spine. Since then I’ve had the ability to just create a connective feeling of buzzing in the base of my spine to my head and that’s about it. I really (IMHO) don’t think this is a big deal at that time. It doesn’t do much but wake me up. I have noticed symptoms of awakening but nothing really amazed me until I learned AYP and my views were changed for good.

It has not solved my problem. But I am continuing shanti meditation practice, this is the only good thing for me. Will it solve my problem in future, I do not know.
I have never followed any system fully. I searched on internet and did my yoga practices. Some times I feel that this has created problem to me. Instead of searching on net and practicing yoga, if I would have followed some system then I would have not entered in this problem. Even if I would have entered in some problem by following a system then it would have sorted out by the system guys (we can call them gurus). I joined AYP to know more about yoga and get help from the yogic practitioners and I have fulfilled my expectations. I will be continuing reading on aypsite.org.

Hi mrityunjay_singh_1983, I stumbled upon this thread and read it all. I don’t know if you solved your problems in the meantime. If not, I’ll give you my opinion, because it seems obvious to me. Too much analysis, too much reasoning, you are obsessed with finding a solution through reasoning. In my opinion you have to let go of this analytical attitude and just create mental silence. From mental silence and deep acceptance of your situation, answers and solutions will come by themselves. Solutions come from the silence behind thoughts, not from reasoning. Yogani also spoke of obsessive attitude, he is right in my opinion. I hope my words can help you if you still haven’t solved it in these two years.
